Mud Room
LCK INTERIORS, Mud Room, 2004 Baltimore Symphony Decorator's Show House "Guilford
House"
The mud room, as it is commonly called, acts as the foyer
to the garden; welcoming the outside, inside. A space frequented by
those who reside, while rushing to and from and rarely enjoying the view.
This space adds a delightfully playful and imaginative side to the
convenience of a back door. Storage is a must; built-in shelving
offers a place to organize everyday clutter as well give a place to show off
personal trinkets. The life size tree mural with decorative hooks
placed on the branches offer a place to hang jackets, the dog leash, and
other items that need to be conveniently stowed. A soft bench offers a
place to put on garden boots or even sit a spell after a long day out.
